Our Amazing Volunteers Make it Happen!
The CEF® Ventura County chapter is praying that the Lord will send more volunteers who are willing to serve the little children in our community.
Will you join us in this great mission? Here are some ways to consider serving:
- Pray for the children and volunteers in our clubs.
- Receive training to become a teacher or helper at one of our clubs.
- Do clerical tasks.
- Provide refreshments for a club.
- Contact your church about adopting a club at one of the schools.
- Encourage your church to recruit a team to start a club at one of the local schools in your area.
- Join our Oversight Committee which meets for about an hour once a month (no meeting is held in June or December).
Parents are always welcome to observe a Good News Club® in action during the school year.

Child Protection Policy
The CEF® Ventura County chapter is here to train, equip and encourage you as you follow God's leading in making an eternal difference in the lives of the children in our community.
In today’s society child abuse and child accusations are occurring daily. Therefore it is important that Child Evangelism Fellowship® take steps to protect the children to whom we minister and protect our workers from false accusations.

The Mailbox Club
In addition to participating in a Good News Club® during the school year, those children or teens who wish to encounter God and grow in spiritual maturity are encouraged to join "The Mailbox Club," a long time CEF® partner, which equips them through correspondence courses geared to their age group. They can work on their lessons during the school year as well during the summer vacation months.

Individuals, families, organizations, groups, and pastors with their churches are invited to partner with CEF® to adopt a school to support financially as their mission field, to pray for the children, to recruit teachers and seek ways to promote the club to the elementary schools in your area.
