Local Director - Olu Adefope
Olu and Deanna have been happily married since 2016 and have a beautiful little girl named Evelyn. They have both been involved in the CEF® ministry since 2011. Olu started volunteering with CEF South Bay back in 2011 while he worked full time in the electronic field. However, Olu has always felt the Lord calling him into full time ministry. In 2019, Olu became the Local Director for the CEF Ventura County Chapter. Olu’s goal is to facilitate a healthy relationship between CEF® and its local community. He works alongside the volunteers, churches, and committee members to help cultivate a thriving ministry. Olu has been involved in different aspects of ministry for many years from speaking, mentoring, teacher training, and telling Bible stories to little children. He is also an Associate Pastor for children and youth at a church in his local community.

The CEF® Ventura County Committee (together with chapters all over the world) strives to "provide vision and leadership to the ministry in areas of finance, ministry programs, staffing and governance and to ensure that the ministry is spiritually strong before God and legally strong" in our community.

Having served in various church ministries over the years, Maria Parker have been involved as volunteers in Good News Clubs in Camarillo for about 9 years. With humble hearts and a desire to reach children for Christ, both Larry and Maria have responded to the Lord’s call to serve as members of the CEF Ventura County Committee. They been on the committee since 2020.

Pastor Roger is the Executive Pastor at Calavary Nexus. He is passionate about reaching the next generation with the Good News of Jesus Christ. His goal is to ensure that CEF Ventura is encouraged to stay focused on the mission of reaching more children with the love of Christ.
Deacon Harold S., - Member
Deacon Harold Sanders Sr., leads and serves in different ministries. His niece who attended the Pleasant Valley school invited him to serve as a volunteer in the Good News Club and to Host a 5 Day Summer Club over seven years ago and he is still hosting a club to this day. He resides as a CEF Committee Member, who loves God and loves his Neighbors.

Bob and Geri are excited to serve as committee members after hearing the many testimonies of children coming to know Jesus through this ministry. Both Geri and Bob have a heart to see many children come to faith in Jesus. Their love for the Lord and people is evident in their words and actions. We are bless to have them on our team.
